Laura Mercier Event with Mary Greenwell

Laura Mercier hosted by Mary Greenwell

I recently went to the Laura Mercier event hosted by Mary Greenwell. I've loved Mary’s work for so long and was lucky enough to assist her several times many years ago so it was great to see her on the stage showing us all her tips and tricks with the range.

Mary demo’d a lovely beauty look using some of the iconic products, and we had a selection of what she was using on a station with a mirror so we got to try everything as she went along. I literally love Laura Mercier products so I was in heaven! You can imagine how much makeup I had on by the time it finished.

Most of the products were really iconic ones that I have used for ages but there were a couple of new things that caught my eye too.

I really liked the Infusion de Rose Nourishing Oil. I hadn’t seen it before but now I’m hooked. It smells amazing and dries into the skin really quickly. It just adds a pop of radiance without being heavy or greasy on the skin. It is also great for adding to the ends off the hair apparently but I am yet to try that tip.

I also really liked the face fabric foundation. It is sold as a 15 hr long wear. I have issues keeping any makeup on my skin, it just gets soaked up but I did find this lasted a whole day which I was happy about. What I really liked is the texture. It's oil free so it dries into the skin but it felt really lightweight whilst still giving coverage. I'm not usually a matte foundation fan but teamed with the Laura Mercier radiance primer underneath I really love it.

We left with the most amazing gift box and makeup bag which I of course put straight into my personal pile! I left walking around feeling fabulous with all my luxury makeup. Thank you Laura Mercier and Mary Greenwell for a wonderfully enjoyable event.
