MTV EMA's: Julia Michaels
I had the most amazing time at the EMA’s not long ago. I saw so many people I work with, the atmosphere was incredible and to be there when it was hosted in London was a memory to last forever. I really do have the best job!
I was there with Julia Michaels who was performing alongside Clean Bandit. We went for a relaxed, grungy look with the hair and makeup. I was so happy with it, Julia looked amazing.
Here's how you can get the look:
The best tool I use for getting an undone hair look is the Cloud 9 wand. Just holding the hair around it for 5 seconds gives a really soft wave.
When you have green eyes, purples and pinks make them really stand out. We went for the Charlotte Tilbury palette ‘Vintage Vamp’ and used my Bowie, Sissy and Buster brushes to get a really blended edge with the right amount of colour.
Lining the water line with a nude really opens up the eyes when you’re going for smoky colours. The H&M pencils have a really good consistency so they’re one of my go to’s.
Of course I used my whipped bronzer as a contour! When do I not!
I mixed up a lip using the Nars lip glosses in 'Stella' and 'Risky Business' and layered them over my liquid lip as a base in 'All About Me'.
For Red Carpet you need to set your makeup and I love the B. Setting spray, I really do find it holds the makeup in place.
Hope you like the look! Leave a comment and let me know what you think and don't forget to subscribe to be the first to hear about my latest blogs.
PS. I'd love to see how you recreate this look, make sure you tag me in so I can find it xx
