The only pigment i'll be wearing this NYE
It’s almost the biggest party night of the year and we all want to look a little bit special!
The loose pigments from B. are that bit of sparkle that you are going to need to accessorise your outfit. Especially if like me you’ll be opting for black.
A lot of people are scared of pigments because they’re loose powder but I find them easier to use and a better pay off than eye shadows if you want to look glam. The key is to shake your pigment with the lid on, turn it upside down so when you open it the powder is in the lid. Dip your brush into the product and press a few times to really push the pigment into your brush hairs. Then apply onto the eye in the same motion by pressing the product out of the brush bristles and onto the eyelid. Keep your application to the lower lid then wipe off any excess from the brush onto a tissue before then going back onto the eye and blending up into the socket.
Choosing your perfect colour is personal preference but if in doubt go for a golden tone as gold suits everyone.
I always go for Glamoflage, is a khaki gold which suits my eye colour. There’s also a light gold ‘#itsthem’ or a rose gold too.
The great thing about pigments is that you can use them with a damp brush and get a stronger sheen and more intense finish.
I also mix my ‘shine on’ pigment with my liquid illuminator to give me a cream highlighter. It sets really nicely on the skin and you could also dust it onto the skin dry too if you prefer.
Set your eyes off with a good amount of mascara! The dual wand mascara from B. Is great as it has a brush for the top and a brush for the bottom lashes.
I'd love to see your party looks using my pigments this New Years, don't forget to leave comments and tag me in to your posts @misscassielomas
Happy New Years Everyone xx
