How to get Radiant Skin
Radiant skin is so on trend now that I thought I would share some of my favourite shiney products with you.
It's important for a dewy look to get a really hydrating skin regime going. I like applying a moisturiser and serum together and I also love using an oil and really massaging it into the skin before makeup.
Illuminators are a must and I am thrilled I now have my very own illuminator. It's a sheer liquid so gives a gorgeous subtle glow so you don't have excess sheen, more of a natural radiance.
You can apply it under your foundation or during the summer you could dilute your base by mixing this in with it and applying all together.
I love this illuminator mixed in with my new pigments and a good all rounder is 'shine on'. It has a gorgeous golden irridescent finish when you add the powder to the illuminator and then I apply it on the cheekbones for an intense shine cream.
It also works if you add a little bit of the pigment to your lip gloss! Having said that all the colours are great. Supermodel sheen is nice for paler skin and glamoflage and #itsthem are great for deeper skin tones as highlight. Used as eye pigments they all suit everyone which is why I love them so much!
I recently purchased the La Mer powder. It's a big spend but I know it will be a great addition to my kit. I really like the glowy fresh skin look and quite often I try to avoid powder, but on certain clients and for long wear you do need it to set makeup so having one with a sheen is a good option.
This powder has a silvery glow to it with radiant particles that prevent it from looking matte. The La Mer ambassador makeup artist Patrick Ta recommends it so I wanted to give it a try. Patrick's makeup style is stunning and I love the glow he gets on the skin so this may be an essential ingredient now for my red carpet glam.
