Get the Look: Nina Nesbitt

Nina Nesbitt Makeup Sunday Brunch

I love working with Nina, she's such a stunner so it makes my job very easy. We had a great week shooting her new music video and Nina also performed ‘Somebody Special” on Sunday Brunch which I did her hair and makeup for. How cute is her little top knot! I really like how her look is fresh, young and cool. I think it's a great representation of how makeup should be.

The glowing skin is achieved using a really lightweight coverage with illuminator and an oil base. Cut out your moisturiser and instead use a facial oil. A great tip is to mix your foundation together with an illuminator because it thins it out so you can have a different look for day and then use them layered together for the evening.

When you’ve got a good brow you can just brush them into place. I use the Laura Mercier brow gel usually because it gives a strong hold without it drying clumpy.

I like a highlighter with a pinch of colour so I can use it as a blush too so I usually delve for my B. Radiance Powder in peachy. The key to getting a nice radiant flush of colour is to dampen down your blusher brush first with a spritz of the Mac fix+ and apply it damp onto the skin because it really intensifies the sheen.

Nina naturally has amazing lips and lashes so I just use a tiny bit of definition. I lined the lip with MAC Stripdown liner and lightly buffed it over the whole lip to give an all over tone. Finish with a touch of Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream to hydrate.

On the eyes I used my Tom Ford quad in '03 cocoa mirage' to add a bit of definition in the socket and next to the lash line.

For the lashes I used the B. HD duel wand mascara. It's brilliant because it has a wider brush for the top lashes and a mini one for the bottom. Smudging mascara is a nightmare so this is perfect for a precise coat.
