HUDA Beauty: My favourites

Huda Beauty

I recently received the most amazing package of Huda beauty products. My students rave about them all the time. You can imagine the excitement in CLMA when they were on the desk. It was makeup mayhem with everyone wanting a peek.

I picked out my favourite products to tell you about and as you may know I am like a magpie so it was all about the sheen and sparkle for me.

I particularly took a shine to the 3D Highlighter palette. It has 4 shades in it. A cream bronze tone which is the base, a light highlighting shade, a pink sheen and a gold sheen. You use a combination of all of them if you want to go for the ultimate shine and I followed the steps on the inside of the packaging which shows you the order and placement of each shade. I found it really helpful because even for me, who should know what to do, it's always unfamiliar territory with new products so getting tips from the brand is just what you need.

I really don’t see highlighters going anywhere anytime soon so if you want a great new palette then go for this.

I also really loved the Lip Strobe. It takes me back to the early 2000’s when I worked with Atomic Kitten and we loved the shimmery thick glosses. It's all back in fashion now and it makes me feel so old but I love it!

I used this at the weekend on Louisa Johnson and her lips looked amazing. I think shimmery glosses are great because even when they need a top up the sheen stays in place so you always look like your lips are done.
