It’s coming to that time of year where college and sixth form are coming to an end and it’s time to choose which career path you want to take. I have always thought that having to decide exactly what you want to do for the rest of your life at 18 is such a daunting and pressurising task. Nowadays, with university fees being SO expensive, the pressure to choose the right path is more intense than ever, but how is anyone so young, with little or no work experience, meant to know what they want to do for the rest of their life?
We all look for simple ways to get quick and easy fixes with our beauty regime. Sometimes the simplest of tricks can be the most genius ones.
Here are some of my favourite basic tips for you to try when going for a natural beauty look.

Whilst training people in make up it is often surprising to learn about habits that people have picked up and become accustomed to over time.
Here are some of my top makeup mistakes and how to correct them:
So if you didn't catch my Insta Stories this week, you won't have seen me trying out the Rodial Vitamin C Brightening Mask. Those of you who regularly follow my blogs will know that i'm a big fan of Rodial products and this mask is no exception.
If you haven’t heard yet, in this weeks OK magazine you can see that my little sister invited all her friends and family to what we thought was a 30th birthday celebration, only to tell everyone when they got there that it was actually going to be their wedding.
I recently went to the Laura Mercier event hosted by Mary Greenwell. I've loved Mary’s work for so long and was lucky enough to assist her several times many years ago so it was great to see her on the stage showing us all her tips and tricks with the range.
I really love Rodial skincare so I was thrilled to try their new Rose Gold range, what a lovely treat! The serum is designed to reshape and rejuvenate. I don’t often feel instant benefits from any serums and they can be heavy on my skin but this was different to what I am used to.
So the new prospectus and courses are up for 2018 and I am pretty sure anyone wanting to do a course will be pleased with our changes. We have increased the length of our makeup artistry courses so we can fit in more skills, practice and help.
I can’t believe we are at that time already where it's almost Halloween! I filmed these videos quite a while ago so that was even stranger but I am getting excited now its getting closer.Halloween has become such a big deal now and everyone has started going all out on their looks.
Last week I got to celebrate the 1st year of the #shadesofbeauty campaign with Superdrug at a dinner they hosted at the Ivy in London. What a treat! The shades of beauty campaign was launched last year to highlight and address the issue of there being limited shades available on the high street particularly for deeper skin tones
I've been training makeup artists now for over 7 years and the hard work doesn't stop when your course finishes, in fact it just begins. It was always my dream to have a school because I struggled so much in the beginning of my career and had nowhere to turn for help, advice or support.
This week with the students we've been working on getting in to work, going from learning makeup to how to turn that into skills when you are actually on a job. Makeup is one part of the job but teaching them how to transfer what they have learnt with me at the academy into working out a brief and meeting clients expectations
If you haven't managed to get your hands on my collection or any of the fab new products from B. yet then they're currently on 3 for 2 at Superdrug online so go go go!
We like to hold masterclasses for all our graduates at CLMA so they have the opportunity to come back to the academy, learn new tips and be inspired.
It is my 8th wedding anniversary this week, how time flies. I did my own wedding makeup typically. Mainly because I wanted to look like me and I hate being messed with.
I've gone a bit brush crazy since I brought my brush range out and I have sooooo many! I love them all of course but I feel like some of them are just amazing and I need to shout about it! Roxie is my foundation brush!
I had a lovely day yesterday visiting some of the beauty journalists to talk about all the new B. Makeup and my collection. It's so nerve wracking creating your own range and having to present it to such experts who live and breathe makeup as much as me.
