I recently received the most amazing package of Huda beauty products. My students rave about them all the time. You can imagine the excitement in CLMA when they were on the desk. It was makeup mayhem with everyone wanting a peek.
If you haven’t heard yet, in this weeks OK magazine you can see that my little sister invited all her friends and family to what we thought was a 30th birthday celebration, only to tell everyone when they got there that it was actually going to be their wedding.
I had a great day filming some Fashion Week inspired ‘get the look’ tutorials with B. products. Getting creative with the whole range at your fingertips is brilliant. I love playing about with the products and showing how things can be used to create on trend looks at home and without spending a fortune on products.
I love the latest images out for Rita Ora’s Rimmel campaign which I was lucky enough to work on. The team were amazing, we literally had such a fun shoot. So everyone wants to know what the lip was I used so here it is!
It's that time of year when the excitement gets the better of us and Instagram is on fire with the scrolling! I’ve been saving all my favourite looks from LFW along the way so here's my breakdown of what I think was hot.
Last week I got to celebrate the 1st year of the #shadesofbeauty campaign with Superdrug at a dinner they hosted at the Ivy in London. What a treat! The shades of beauty campaign was launched last year to highlight and address the issue of there being limited shades available on the high street particularly for deeper skin tones
I've been training makeup artists now for over 7 years and the hard work doesn't stop when your course finishes, in fact it just begins. It was always my dream to have a school because I struggled so much in the beginning of my career and had nowhere to turn for help, advice or support.
So if you didn't catch my Insta Stories this week, you won't have seen me trying out the Rodial Vitamin C Brightening Mask. Those of you who regularly follow my blogs will know that i'm a big fan of Rodial products and this mask is no exception.
So the new year is well and truly underway at CLMA.
I've loved teaching the new Bridal & Occasional makeup students. We have doubled the course time and I am so pleased. The difference in the skill of the artists was incredible, well worth the extra commitment.
I love working with Nina, she's such a stunner so it makes my job very easy. We had a great week shooting her new music video and Nina also performed ‘Somebody Special” on Sunday Brunch which I did her hair and makeup for. How cute is her little top knot! I really like how her look is fresh, young and cool. I think it's a great representation of how makeup should be.
